In 2016 a friend found a newborn kitten and told me the shelter would euthanize because they did not have the staff to take care of it.  I figured I had 5 kids how hard could it be.  So I reached out to another friend who I knew could help and that little kitten started my love for rescue.  My Stella who has since passed from cancer taught me so much.  Without her I would have never found my passion.  Going from an orthodontic assistant of 20 years to running a non profit takes courage, strength and guts and because I believe these animals are worth saving Stay Pawsitive is making a difference in our community!
